Sweet baby Blaine...

October 1, 2009 I witnessed a miracle. Christian Blaine was born at ECM hospital in Florence, Alabama. Every birth is a miracle but his birth was different. A few months earlier his Mom and Dad were told that he had Trisomy 18. Go to http://www.trisomy18.org for more information. The doctors said Blaine would most likely not live to term or would not survive birth. He did both! And I was there. I was able to be in the room when he was born to take pictures for the family. It was an amazing experience. To see that special little boy take his first breath was just indescribable. Blaine spent one week in the hospital before the doctors felt he could go home to be with his Mom, Dad and two big sisters. On October 18, 2009 around 8:20 in the morning Blaine took his last breath on this earth and went on to be with our Lord in Heaven. !7 days may not seem like a long time in this crazy paced world we live in but in those 17 days this sweet angel made such a difference in so many people. He will remain in our hearts forever. I give glory to God for allowing me to be a part of this baby's life and to be able to call his family my dear friends.

Sunflower magic!

One of our favorite clients recently asked us to come photograph her children in her fathers first crop of sunflowers. Luckily we were able to work her in and are so pleased with how the pictures turned out! Hope you enjoy the images!

Once Upon an Urban Christmas: throughout the month of October
These family Christmas portraits can be taken in a field or on the street in downtown Tuscumbia. They are meant to be more edgy and fun. These sessions also include 50 Christmas cards.

Traditional Christmas: November 10-12
30 minute session includes 50 Christmas cards. Online Proofs. We will begin booking these sessions August 17th at 10 a.m. These sessions go fast so call early!

A Day with Santa: November 13-14
30 minute session. Slideshow following your session. Order must be placed that day.
Cost: $50 and bring an unwrapped toy. Toys will be donated to local foster children and part of session fee is also donated to local foster children.
