2010 at Captured

Our limited editions for the year are off to a great start! We did "Baby it's cold outside" and had a great time. Our Client Appreciation day was a huge success. We booked up in only a few hours. Look for more of those in the future. We have so much going on at the studio right now! We have expanded next door and have doubled our studio size. We have been crazy getting everything painted, moved, and new backgrounds made. 2010 is going to be a great year! We are now taking appointments for our Orange Beach trip. The dates are June 12th-16th. These are already filling up so call now for more information. Look for lots of Limited Editions including Easter, Mom & me, Dad & me, All about John Deere, Rock Stars and Divas and many more. Sweet baby Blaine...

October 1, 2009 I witnessed a miracle. Christian Blaine was born at ECM hospital in Florence, Alabama. Every birth is a miracle but his birth was different. A few months earlier his Mom and Dad were told that he had Trisomy 18. Go to http://www.trisomy18.org for more information. The doctors said Blaine would most likely not live to term or would not survive birth. He did both! And I was there. I was able to be in the room when he was born to take pictures for the family. It was an amazing experience. To see that special little boy take his first breath was just indescribable. Blaine spent one week in the hospital before the doctors felt he could go home to be with his Mom, Dad and two big sisters. On October 18, 2009 around 8:20 in the morning Blaine took his last breath on this earth and went on to be with our Lord in Heaven. !7 days may not seem like a long time in this crazy paced world we live in but in those 17 days this sweet angel made such a difference in so many people. He will remain in our hearts forever. I give glory to God for allowing me to be a part of this baby's life and to be able to call his family my dear friends.
